Drake leads a prison break, 15 July 2015
John Drake's Mission: Try to gain the release of a man being held in an Asian country on charges of murder. The murder charge brings with it a death sentence.
The Honeymooners has to be one of my least favorite episodes so far. Why? First, it hardly seems like a John Drake mission - it just doesn't feel right. I might understand if the man was "somebody", but as it is, it seems like something more for a bunch of diplomats to sort out instead of involving a super spy. Second, the ease with which Drake busts the man out of prison is utterly ridiculous. Up to this point in the plot, we have been led to believe it's a very tough, secure prison facility. Yet all Drake has to do is very easily subdue three guard (yes, only three) to make his escape. With that kind of security, I'm surprised they can keep anyone locked up. Third, the man's wife is absolutely irritating. If she would have just once listened to Drake, the whole things could have been resolved much easier. And, fourth, the yellow-face on display is horrible. I'm not talking about it from a PC perspective, but from a technical make-up point-of-view, it looks terrible.
As much as I hate to do it, 4/10 is all I can give this one.
