Drake in the Middle East, 4 August 2015
John Drake's Mission: Drake heads to a Middle Eastern kingdom in turmoil to rescue the last remaining British subjects when he discovers the one member of the royal family, a baby, is still alive.
For the most part, The Nurse is a good episode. The acting is okay - even if none of the actors involved were from the Middle East. Character actors Jack MacGowran and Eric Pohlmann stood out to me. The sets, though cheap, do look appropriate enough. The script has some good action and suspense. And I'm not sure what model the helicopter was, but it had that cool 60s look it that I loved.
But there is one moment in The Nurse that defies all logic. The rebels have captured Drake and put him in a car. It has already been established that the rebels are basically bloodthirsty killers. So, do they kill Drake? No. Instead, they take him out of town and dump him out of the car. And they don't even take him that far away. He's back by the next scene without any sort of visible injury. It's completely illogical.
