Honey West "The Perfect Un-crime" #1.20 (1966) (TV)

Honey and the Department Store, 7 July 2015

Honey is approached by a potential client with a stranger request - he wants to hire Honey and Sam to break into the safe at the department store where works to return a bag of money he's stolen.

Wow, I'm surprised by the 5.4 rating on IMDb for The Perfect Un-crime. It looks like I enjoy this one much more than the average fan. There are a couple of things that worked for me. First, the novel idea of returning stolen money was a nice change of pace. Honey and Sam are usually trying to get something - not the other way around. Second, I got a kick out of the department store chase/fight scene. Sure, it's not much more than slapstick, but I had a lot of fun with it. Overall, I'm rating The Perfect Un-crime a lofty 7/10.

For the episode's edition of Name That Character Actor, there's really only one choice - Byron Foulger. With a familiar face, a familiar voice, and 482 acting credits, I'm sure most will know him when they see him.

7/10
