Honey and the Bank Robber, 4 July 2015
Honey goes undercover as a bank teller to investigate a series of bank robberies.
Overall, A Nice Little Till to Tap is a solid enough episode, but it's well below average. This episode has a decidedly different feel to it when compared with other episodes. "Fun" is exchanged for "realism" (at least as realistic as Honey West gets). And A Nice Little Till to Tap is hurt by the extended, silent heist scenes. The makers may have been going for something like the heist in Rififi, but they failed. Instead of being tense, these scenes are just boring. A 4/10 is the best I can do.
For this episode's Name That Character Actor, the winner is Howard McNear. Of his 103 acting credits, he's best known for playing Floyd Lawson on the Andy Griffith Show.
